Domaine de Belesbat is situated in the heart of an untouched region, just south of the Essonne River. The property offers a rich array of natural and cultural resources. In 1999, this “land of a thousand clearings and sandstone” was designated a National Park. There are many interesting places to discover. Highlights in the region include: Milly-la-Forêt (best known for its famous citizen, Jean Cocteau), the Art Glassworks in Soisy-sur-Ecole, Chateau de Courances, the National Conservatory for Aromatic Plants, Domaine de Chamarande, and the “Cyclops,” (a unique steel sculpture by Jean Tinguely).
